Are all the staff qualified?

All staff are qualified in their respective fields of expertise. Specifically, all physiotherapists are members of the Health Care Professions Council.

Are you registered with major health insurers?
Yes, all physiotherapy staff are recognised by Westfield, BUPA, AXA PPP and other major health insurance schemes except for Nuffield Health.

How can I pay?

We accept payment by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. If you have health insurance we can, in most cases, invoice your company directly providing you have proof of your claim being generated. If unsure regarding a specific question, please donʼt hesitate to get in touch via 0114 250 1162 or emailing: info@919clinic.co.uk

Is there a cancellation fee?

If you fail to attend or cancel on the day of your appointment, we reserve the right to charge for the missed appointment.

Do I need to be referred by my doctor?

You do not need to see your doctor prior to physiotherapy. But if your treatment is to be covered by your Health Insurance, you will need to check your policy's terms and conditions. Your insurance company may stipulate that a GP's referral is required. We may contact your GP or ask you to visit them if we feel this is necessary.

What do I wear?

It is recommended that you wear loose fitting clothing. Shorts are useful for low back and leg problems. Vest tops are useful for shoulder problems. Your therapist will require you to partially undress to be able to assess and treat your problem. We always have shorts for you to borrow if necessary.

Can a friend/family member join me in the treatment room?

Yes, you are always welcome to have a friend or family member in the treatment room.
